Create/extract
an archive using Windows Explorer shell extensions
To
create a new Zip file from within Windows Explorer, just use
your mouse to select the files and/or folders you wish to
compress, then right-click the selected items. A popup context
menu will appear as shown below:

Select "Add to Archive ..." from the context menu.
The "Add Options" dialog box below will be shown.
You should browse to the target folder where you wish to store
the new Zip file you are about to create, then enter a
filename for your new Zip file in the "File name"
field. Now, click the "OK" button to proceed.

After your new Zip file has been created, a message dialog
box will inform you how many files were added. Click the "OK"
button to close it.

To
extract the contents of an Zip file from within Windows
Explorer, just right-click the Zip file you wish to extract.
A popup context menu will appear. Select "Extract To
..." from the context menu as shown below:

You
will now be shown the "Extract" dialog box. You
can either select the target folder you wish to extract to,
or you can type in the full path in the "Extract To"
field. In the example below, we decided to extract to "C:\ExtractFolder".
Note that if the target folder you entered does not exist,
PicoZip will automatically create it for you.

Click the "Extract" button to proceed with the extraction.
Once completed, a message dialog box will inform you how many
files were extracted as shown below. Click the "OK"
button to close it.
